I used to own a pair of sony headphones and i thought they were the best little headphones i had ever listened to. I went out and saw the Bose on display hooked up to an iPod Shuffle. I decided to put them on and i was in my own little world. They blocked out every single sound around me and they play the music without and static or distortion. I bought them right then and there. I played with them for about 2 hours and i had to let other people listen to them. Then i thought to try my little Sony headphones. After hearing the Bose, the Sony's seemed SO obsolete. i could hear everything around me and i just dont like that. Also the Bose has unmatched performance even with rock music. Just to give an example of how sound oriented these headphones are, when you are in a silent room and you dont have any music playing yet, you can hear your heartbeat! They are honestly that amazing! And the bass is AMAZING! you can actually feel the bass in your head. if you use them on iTunes the equalizer cant be on bass booster, or the bass is almost too much. it sounds best on flat or rock. These are by far the best headphones i have ever listened to. And i would recomend them to anyone who listens to music on a regular basis and who maybe rides a bus regularly or on an airplane like me. But they are worth every penny. I like them so much I just bought a T-shirt from Bose with the emblem on it. Help support the best name in sound out there and get yourself a pair and be a proud owner of the Bose Triport headphones. You'll never buy another pair from any other company. I promise.

I got these for Christmas and I love them. They sound like you are in a concert hall. The people around you cant hear what your listening to and I can't hear anything they are saying. These are just Awesome!! Worth every penny.
